Our forward thinking services organisation are seeking a Procurement Manager to join their growing procurement team in Birmingham City Centre.
Your new role
Within your new role you will Develop a detailed understanding of the firm's business to ensure that the purchasing needs of each support area is managed effectively and consistently, demonstrating a proactive approach. Implement purchasing projects plan and identify new projects with support heads. Assist in the preparation of business cases for new purchases, with focus on budget forecasts. Management of full purchasing process including the drafting of RFx and leading supplier selection where required. Manage procurement projects to ensure that there is an effective audit trail for the selection and appointment of suppliers. Maintaining the supplier contract database
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this job you will have strong end to end procurement experience with experience managing a range of indirect goods and services (ideally partnering with Finance, Governance and HR business areas. Experience managing the procurement for commodities including management consultancy, legal, payment platforms, financial products and associated technology would be beneficial. You will be MCIPS qualified or working towards.
