Our large nationwide client are looking to recruit an Outbound Sales Consultant to cover the Manchester area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and expanding sales into the Local Authority Market, selling furnishing services to Councils and associated departments, landlords and property professionals. Establish a good network within the local authority market, associated departments and social housing landlords. Working closely with colleagues in operations and inbound sales to ensure contract requirements are met. Producing sales reports and MI on time and accurately.

Job duties:

  • Performance manage local authority relationships and ensure contacts perform to KPIs

  • Increase market share through maximising existing sales potential and creating new sales leads

  • Liaise with operations to ensure processes are in place to meet all contract requirements

  • Ensure stock have full understanding of contract requirements

  • Identify and source new business through existing and new customer contacts

  • Contribute to contract bids by supplying up to date market intelligence and customer trend information

  • Managing all client communication

  • Develop and aggressive sales schedule and ensure sales quotas are met and exceeded

  • Provide accurate on time monthly sales forecasting to the Commercial Director with a pipeline aim of achieving month over month year over year growth

  • Attend meetings with clients on and off site on a daily basis

  • Work with support functions to improve service delivery and resolve and client issues

  • Responsible for managing your own client contacts, scheduling and prioritising’s your workload

  • Responsible for compliance within the Bribery Act and all sales adhere to the companies terms

Skills needed:

  • Proven successful experience in a sales role and contract performance management role

  • Proven success in prospecting, building a pipeline, and moving opportunities through to completion

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills and ability to communicate and work at all levels

  • A full driving licence is a must and also to be prepared to travel frequently with some overnight stays
