Digital Product Marketing Manager

This position is about selling education products online and monetising the web platforms. The company is growing at a phenomenal pace and it’s essential that you can work in an unstructured and informal environment yet have the ability to implement Best Practice systems around driving income from digital product sales as the company grows.

A typical day will involve

You will work closely with educational product managers to provide strategic context around the products that should be optimised through marketing and channels for revenue gains.

You will be responsible for ongoing analysis and managing the information flow to marketing on upcoming course releases. This may include working with bloggers and colleagues in PR to drive reviews, promotion and awareness of new releases.

Additionally, you’ll be accountable for driving online sales by reviewing all products, making recommendations to the content, pricing and format for learning based on customer reviews, feedback and competitor offerings.

You will also be responsible for the pricing lifecycle, in discussion with Category Management and Marketing. In addition, the role plays a critical role in the formulation of the framework for title pricing, including promotional pricing strategy and analysis where applicable and competitor pricing analysis.

Part of your role will involve working with the category managers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction through customer insight and research programmes.

To be successful

  • Experience of online learning or educational products such as courses, webinars and learning material would be an advantageous.
  • The ability to work with a wide group of stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data and trend analysis.
  • Experience of developing and scaling new processes.
  • A track record of driving growth and results through innovation and good commercial judgement.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Skilled Communicator and with the ability to influence and persuade
