Commercial Pricing Analyst

An excellent opportunity has become available to work as Commercial Pricing Analyst to support the Commercial Performance Manager in optimising revenue and margin for a Prestigious Holiday Company. The role will focus on Price development and Commercial Reporting.


Monday - Friday

Between the hours of 08.00 - 18.00

Salary £30,000K per annum + Exclusive company benefits

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining Variable Pricing
  • Maintain and champion existing Commercial reporting and continually assess and develop them.
  • Maintain pricing models across the UK.
  • Modelling of performance to enable pricing evaluation
  • Understand the consumer market
  • Perform sales channel analysis, to gain insight and optimise.
  • Comprehensive analysis of demand
  • Liaise closely with internal teams and gain an understanding of their commercial requirements
  • Propose pricing changes where relevant and monitor the impact of the change
  • Investigation into revenue decline
  • Understand the customer and product combination

Standard requirements of all roles:

  • The minimum of 2 years analytical experience.
  • Pricing experience - Maintaining models, Variable pricing.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and Power Pivot Strong Microsoft office skills.
  • All employees are expected to be flexible in their duties and responsibility and may be asked to perform other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of their job and their level of responsibility
  • Ability to create commercial performance reports and display numbers in a clear and concise manor.
  • A Degree that is relevant to this field of work is desirable, e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Business and Finance.
