A Senior BI Developer is now required to work for a fantastic, instantly recognisable brand in Birmingham.

The successful Senior BI Developer will be responsible for delivering business reporting requirements and providing support to end users.

You will be joining a rapidly expanding BI centre of excellence that will grow its responsibilities both nationally and internationally over the coming months.

This position is open to experienced BI Developers who don't have the interest to lead and mentor a team and also to those who do. My client is keen to have an experienced/ senior Developer on board with the option to be his second in command.

The majority of the development will be done will be using the Microsoft Stack on a day to day basis however QlikView will be used for the reporting function (full training will be given on QlikView)

Responsibilities of the successful Senior BI Developer:

- To deliver BAU BI reporting to support the business, ensuring it is accurate and delivered within given deadlines.

- To deliver new BI reporting requirements, along with any associated system and process changes as and when required, to a high standard and within given deadlines.

- To provide support, documentation and training to other BI team members as and when required to ensure that overall BI deliverables are met.

Technical skill-set of the successful Senior BI Developer:

- T-SQL (Transactional SQL)

- SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)

- Reporting Technologies (SSRS and/or QlikView)

- SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012

- Microsoft Excel

The Senior BI Developer candidate will be able to secure the following package:

- £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependant on experience and responsibilities)
