Van Sales Merchandiser

Bristol, Cardiff, Swindon, South West, Gloucester, Hereford, Taunton - Or any location within an hour of Bristol

£19k-£20k base + Commission + Company Van + Fuel Card, Mobile + Laptop

The aim now is to dramatically drive the business forward and they are looking for individuals to help them achieve their aim.

Currently my client supplies over 1000 forecourt sites across the UK ans is growing daily.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing a defined geographical area, home based and working from a fully equipped company van, with the occassional few days a way a month (depending on location)

The key requirements of the job are:

  • Regular merchandising visits to Independent forecourts and Tesco Forecourts
  • Maximising profits through management of pump top promotions
  • Handheld invoicing and cash collection
  • Identifying and opening new customer sites
  • Identifying new business opportunities in the sites with related products

To be successful in this role, candidates will have:

  • A passion for providing excellent customer service Well developed communication and inter-personal skills
  • High levels of initiative and the ability to work without direct supervision
  • Strong self-motivation
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Ideally Located on M4 Corridor but will be required to stay away from home on a regular basis.
  • Be comfortable dirivng a Renault Master Van which can also be used for personal millage

Experience in a similar field sales / van sales or merchandising role in the retail convenience sector will be an advantage, but full training will be provided to the successful candidate, plus ongoing support.

On Offer:
