Business Development Manager - (Field Based) Advertising
Our client is one of the UK's largest Out of Home digital media companies with a proven and dynamic track record in providing advertising solutions for many years.
Having evolved into a leading provider of digital OOH solutions they have transformed their business and are now looking to hire a Business Development Manager in Birmingham.
- Selling OOH solutions direct to SME businesses within your targeted geographic area.
- Sourcing your own leads, booking your own appointments and closing business face to face with clients across multiple vertical markets.
- Comfortable selling anything from a single lower value deal to a multi-site annual contract, you will enjoy the challenge of selling various solutions and varying deal values.
- Spending 1 day a week in the office with the remainder of the week in the field.
- Report directly to an Area Sales Manager.
- Managing your own territory with plenty of autonomy, and encouraged to manage your business as your own.
- Minimum of 2 years Business to Business sales experience.
- New Business focused.
- Ideally from an Advertising/Marketing background but equally open to someone outside of this with the right skills and attitude.
- Very target orientated, want to earn significant OTE.
- Comfortable sitting 6 - 8 meetings per week.
- Digitally savvy with a passion for being a trusted advisor to your clients.
The successful candidates will receive a base salary of between £25k - £27.5k with an OTE of £60k plus company car and fantastic benefits package. You will get the chance to join a household name in the sector, with plenty of opportunity for progression and development.
