Administrator - UK wide Financial Planning & Investment Management firm
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 + Package

Our client is a national Wealth Manager with many years of experience in the financial services industry, and they are seeking an IFA Administrator with experience of working in an IFA environment to join their team in Guildford. This represents a great opportunity to join a firm who have an exceptional track record in delivering advice of the highest quality to their HNW/UHNW clients.

The successful candidate for this role will need to have a specific skill set in order to maintain our client’s high standards. Among these attributes are:

• Experience of working in administration in a financial services setting (this is essential)
• Strong academics (degree-level or equivalent preferable) with ambition to progress in the industry by taking examinations
• Strong IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems
• A high level of organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a range of individuals
• A professional telephone manner
• A proven track record in customer satisfaction or client satisfaction

The role is varied in its day-to-day duties. Nonetheless, basic responsibilities for this role include:

• Providing administrative support as needed for a range of financial planning teams in relation to achieving clients’ aims
• System maintenance including accurately maintaining client records and processing all business efficiently
• Prioritising workload to ensure all activities are completed quickly, in a compliant fashion and at a high standard
• Requesting policy information from third party policy providers
• Coordinating and producing client valuations as needed
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with a range of individuals
