North Star recruit experienced hires for Oracle & Microsoft Partner firms.

North Star have been retained by a Preferred Partner firm to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to cover the Midlands, North of England and Northern Home Counties. This is a new business role.

Our client has expertise in providing Cloud customisation, migration and deployment solutions for Oracle ERP users looking to move from an On-Prem or Hybrid solution. The firm has it's own IP, products and methodologies. They are a growing, well-funded and profitable business. Their customers include Plcs, mid-size corporates, government departments and local authorities. They offer their customers a low-risk and cost-effective approach to migrating to the Cloud and building secure, personalised environments for each customer. This is often as part of a larger Change & Transformation programme.

The firm is on a build-out and as such can offer a new opportunity to a proven sales manager. To be a candidate you will need to have a background in selling big ticket ERP software and services to large-scale users. Preference will be given however to candidates who can demonstrate a formal sales training background and management of a complex sales pipeline.

Oracle experience (EBS and/or Fusion) is useful but not essential. A background in any major ERP vendor technology can be considered e.g. SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce etc. You will be responsible for your own prospecting, sales pipeline and targets. You will be supported by the senior management team, PreSales consultants and technical specialists. You will need to live in the territory you are covering (Midlands/North) although you can work from home when not with clients or at SIGs, Expos etc.

The firm is offering a basic to £90,000 (possibly more for an exceptional performer), a superb bonus plan with renewals and accelerators, equity options and a benefits package. Once you have traction with deals under your belt, you will be given the chance to recruit and build your own sales team and enjoy earnings from your teams' sales.
