Job Role: Quality Manger
Location: Bristol City Centre
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays , pension with up to 8% contribution, flexible hours, parking and many more

What will you be doing?

I am recruit for a Quality manager with proven experience in Quality Management and Continuous Improvement methodologies ideally gained within the Aerospace and Defense sectors. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in teams are essential.

Key Accountabilities

*Report to the Operations Director on all matters relating to product and service quality.
*Provide a strong lead across the Company on the management of project and product quality, ensuring Company and customer expectations are being met in full.
*Plan and lead the Company's programme of quality auditing, oversee customer feedback and complaints, and monitor key quality performance indicators.
*Lead on quality engineering activities, including the selection, rating and approval of suppliers, quality planning, and the quality assurance of delivered Company products.
*Identify, plan and implement changes to the Company's quality management systems, through key performance indicators, lessons learnt, quality systems review and defining a programme of continuous improvement.
*Provide training and support to Company engineering staff and drive through the development of a Company culture that recognises the importance of product quality and a customer focused service.
*Ensuring that through its approach to work, the Company is fulfilling its quality objectives, with special regard for safety and airworthiness requirements, legislation and industry best practice.
*Ensure that Quality is built in to the Company's products and services through appropriate inputs to the design, risk and project management processes.
*Work externally with customers on a range of consultancy projects as required.

Key skills (not all skills are required):

*Highly experienced in ISO9001/EN9100 Quality Management Systems.
*Aerospace/Defence Industry-specific knowledge.
*Familiarity with electronic and mechanical systems and components.
*Familiarity with software development methodologies.
*A willingness to embrace and implement change and an ability to identify and implement new processes.
*The ability to manage conflict situations with customers and internally whilst ensuring positive relationships are maintained.
*The capability to work efficiently and accurately, with an attention to detail, and the discipline to self-manage.
