QHSE Auditor- Regional Role-Birmingham to London

Servest Group is a leading UK facilities management provider, we cover a wide range of services from hard to soft FM solutions. Due to expansions within the team we are recruiting for a QHSE Auditor to work internally across the portfolio of Servest Sites. This is a regional role covering sites from Birmingham to East Anglia and down to London- the role will be field based visiting sites for 3-4 days per week with the other day/s being office/ home based for paperwork and compliance- (our office is based in Bury St Edmunds). We are looking for an auditor who can be flexible with working hours however we see this as a Monday to Friday role.
Reporting to the Group QHSE Manager, as the Auditor you will conduct audits and inspections across the Servest business- we have an extensive portfolio with a mixture of business- the role will primarily focus on our distribution centre network as a starting point then move out to the wider spectrum including retail and corporate buildings. You will be required to conduct audits, produce associated reports, communicate effectively and guide front line staff, supervisors and managers as to the importance of following procedures and keeping compliant and safe within the business. You will also be required to support on some external audits across our service lines. This role will look to maintain current processes, and sustain high standards throughout the business but also to bring new ideas and reinvigorate the current training and procedures.

To be considered for the role of QHSE Auditor , you will need to display the following skill set:
Have a minimum of 2 years` experience in a similar QHSE Auditing role managing audits and inspections from a Distribution / FM environment
NEBOSH qualification would be desirable (IOSH qualification as a minimum) together with knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001
Be an excellent communicator with strong influencing skills, able to speak effectively before groups of internal customers and employees.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence to a high level of understanding
Ability to define problems, collect and interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Be proficient in MS Office applications.

You must have a flexible approach to work and be prepared to adapt the hours for the needs of the business. We are looking for people who are happy to travel - covering an area from Birmingham to East Anglia and down to London- some overnight stays may be needed.
