A leader in the field of designing, building and management of smart transaction systems are seeking an up and coming Java Software Developer to join their team. Utilising the latest Java, Web and secure transaction technology this development team is responsible for delivering the systems that underpin the smart transaction service that this company provide.
This business have the vision of being the most successful software services provider in the world, for secure enterprise class systems that enable the management of monetisation of complex transit transactions and data.
Your new role
You will be joining a small team of developers who work in a high performance, agile environment. This team deliver software in two-week sprints and are looking for their developers to collaborate with expert colleagues from systems architecture, software testing, usability and project management.
You will be developing the back office systems that underpin smart transaction systems in their bespoke products. You will be involved in the development of new features, enhancements to existing functionality, defect investigation/resolution and design documentation. An eye for detail and focus on quality is required, using a test driven approach incorporating unit and integration testing of code.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed within this role you will need experience of Java development preferably in Java 1.6 or later, experience of SQL and a knowledge of a development environment such as Eclipse or NetBeans would be ideal. You will also need proven experience of Java developments and deployments.
