Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong background in installing and maintaining IT hardware? Would you be capable of setting up a server environment, supporting desktops, fixing Wireless Points and diagnosing network faults?
This role offers a competitive salary between £25-28,000 p.a. depending on relevant skills and experience. You will also be able to increase your salary further equating to more than £30K, and advantage from these other exceptional benefits:

This would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is an experienced Field Service Engineer who enjoys travelling nationally around the country visiting client premises working in a hands-on IT infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for taking ownership of site builds and related problems, providing installations, identifying solutions, and resolving infrastructure related requests.
To be successful in this role you will need to have the energy, enthusiasm and flexibility to work in a fast paced environment as well as be able to adapt to different circumstances where no two days are the same.
Ideally, you will be located in the Midlands or surrounding area. You will be required to work away from home on occasion, potentially for several days and nights at a time for larger projects.
*Experience working in a field based IT infrastructure role
*Strong server skills, preferably with HP ProLiant and other HP hardware
*Ability to build server and desktop environments
*Hands-on experience with server hardware, operating systems and software packages
*Experienced with current and older operating systems, server applications (DHCP, DNS, AD, etc.) and group policy management
*Good working knowledge across a wide variety of IT hardware (desktops, laptops, notebooks, Multi-Function Printers (MFP) and other peripheral devices)
*Able to install and maintain wireless solutions
*MCP level or similar accreditation
*Good understanding of structured cabling or Wi-Fi connectivity e.g. routers, switches, Wireless Access Points (WAP) and managed cabling
*An understanding of VOIP technologies
*Experience working with Mitel telephone systems would be a huge advantage
Working Hours: Standard hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, however this is not a typical 9-5 or 40 hour week role. Overtime fluctuates depending on client requirements and overnight stays across the country could be necessary so flexibility is essential.
