The Company

Brookfield SDM provides strategic and tactical digital marketing services across the hospitality industry. We work with hotels, health clubs, spas and restaurants throughout the UK and Europe. Joining a growing team, the Account Manager will be responsible for the successful management and execution of digital strategies for clients, working closely with the Digital Marketing team.

Job Role

Working directly with clients, the Account Director and Digital Executive Team, you will continually develop, support and fulfil the client’s digital marketing requirements. You will also ensure that these campaigns/activities perform against (and exceed) expectations and provide ongoing support as and when required. There will also be a requirement to continuously develop your own digital marketing knowledge in order that Brookfield clients receive an up to date and high-quality service, and ensure new information, ideas are integrated into the tactical planning process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide digital strategy and user experience expertise for clients and internal teams
  • Perform detailed research into our clients, their industry, their existing digital marketing campaigns and competitors across relevant markets
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, providing leadership and support during strategy and execution
  • Managing client expectations
  • Support the Account Director with research, analysis, recommendations and reporting in related areas
  • Presentation of recommendations and strategies to clients
  • To proactively advise clients about digital marketing issues and opportunities
  • To meet or exceed agreed quarterly revenue and customer retention targets for your clients
  • To produce annual digital marketing plans for key clients
  • To develop knowledge on an ongoing basis of developments in SEO, paid search, display, retargeting, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social, Conversion Optimisation, website design, inbound marketing and other key, relevant channels that provide traffic and conversions for clients and to share this with the team
  • To contribute to the ongoing development of the Digital Marketing Executive Team
  • To ensure best practice campaign execution within the Digital Marketing Executive Team
  • To work closely with the Digital Manager to ensure best practice standards are delivered

Person Specification

  • A minimum of 1 years’ Agency experience of developing and implementing integrated digital marketing campaigns, within an agency that includes a variety of digital channels - in particular, SEO, PPC, Display, Social, Email and Content
  • Comfortable explaining your recommendations and findings to both colleagues and clients
  • Very strong skill-set in SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social media platforms
  • Strong communication skills (presentations, written and verbal)
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines and to be able to deliver measurable results
  • Working knowledge of website design, URL architecting, e-commerce and web usability principles
  • Demonstrable passion for all things digital, abreast of changes and developments in the market
  • Strong relationship management and organisational skills
  • Innovative and creative, with a concise, precise and effective approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivating, ability to work on own initiative and also be an active member of the team
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google Tag Manager and SEO Tools
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML and Content management Systems
  • Be organised with the ability to manage own (and others) workload
  • Eye for detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Proactive and positive (happy) attitude, and an ability to work to tight deadlines (go the extra mile)
  • Strong MS skillset (excel/word etc.)
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
