Client Relationship Manager | Professional Services |Manchester
My client is a leading International Professional Services firm who are embarking on a large scale restructure aimed at driving exceptional client service and building a world leading BD team . The firm is looking to recruit a new Client Relationship manager to drive profitability and service delivery to their Key Accounts across the Northern region .Working across the firm with Partners and other key stakeholders you will be responsible for the development of key relationships within your sector groups. You will develop an in-depth understanding of your nominated clients and provide day-to-day support to ensure that these accounts are running as efficiently and effectively as possible. Your role will encompass full client relationship management including research and analysis, thought leadership, cross selling, and creation of innovative ideas.

Your remit will be to:

*Help develop the firm's client development methodology as the programme expands into new areas of the firm
*Determin criteria and if appropriate grading for particular clients
*Leading the strategy for the clients within relevant sectors/practice areas, and working collaboratively with Senior Business Development Managers and other Client Managers to ensure alignment of client programmes across the firm, ensuring that BD activity is driven by client need
*Ensuring the implementation of effective client strategies, taking an overarching view of strategy and client needs, achieving growth across the programme
*Creating and coordinating client teams and effective cross-practice groups to support client development plans
*Supporting the development of appropriate marketing materials and activities to fulfil client plans
*Overseeing the creation of differentiating proposal materials and the management of client pitch efforts in respect of the identified client accounts
*Managing junior members of the team, ensuring each member works to the highest standards and develops in their roles
*Formulating relevant business development budgets in relation to client activity and management of the budget to ensure appropriate expenditure and that the firm receives suitable return on that investment
*Monitoring KPIs and reporting regular progress back to the firm's management, partnership and senior members of the Business Development team
The successful candidate will have:
Considerable experience of working as a Client Development professional at management level within a fast-paced professional services environment, including:
oLeading sector-focused client development and marketing activities
oDeveloping and implementing business plans
oManaging key client accounts
oManaging integrated and client-focused marketing and client development plans
oManagement of marketing materials and activities to support the client's agenda
oManaging pitch efforts and proposal materials
*Marketing communications experience with extensive copy writing skills
*Experience of managing and coaching the development of junior team members
*Experience of formulating and managing budgets and overseeing the monitoring of spend and any associated reports
*Able to work closely with partners and associates and possesses the ability to influence key partners and decision making groups
