Based in central Birmingham this is a niche company based in technology and engineering and supplying the defence industry amongst others. It is a medium sized growing business, with a turnover of £10m.

We are looking for a Finance Manager who would be reporting to the FD. This is a great opportunity for the right person who wants to have a leadership role, managing 2 support roles in the team.

We are looking for someone who may be part qualified in AAT, but importantly has a wide experience up to trial balance, and reconciliation skills but also including purchase, sales ledger and general ledgers, plus payroll. An added advantage would be someone who had dealt with invoice discounting.

This is a busy department with many tasks focussed on deadlines, and the ability to prioritise, and be part of a team constantly supporting the varied needs of the business - a great challenge for someone wanting the next step on their career ladder.
