Finance Team Leader job in Bristol paying £27k-£29.5k

You will be working for a prestigious and leading Education business based in Bristol

Your new role
You will lead and manage the transactional accounting team (7 in team), including AP, AR, Cashiering, Banking and Purchase ordering function. You will monitor regular low value expenditure and establish best value preferred suppliers for routine low value expenditure to ensure that the business achieves value for money and communicate preferred suppliers for routine purchasing activity to requisitioners. You will also manage and control the accounting and purchase to payment system (APTOS 10) - including liaison with the accounting package provider and resolution of all system related issues. You will also be required to manage general office administration duties such as archiving, filing, staff reviews, intranet page updates.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience from a similar role, and MUST have line manager experience. You may be studying towards an accounting qualification, and will be passionate about your career in finance. You will have good time management skills, and good communication skills (both verbal and written).
