Internal Account Manager - IT Security - Birmingham

My client, an established Service Provider and Consultancy sitting within the IT Security space are seeking an Internal Account Manager. Reporting to the team Sales Manager, you will be required to meet and exceed sales target and KPI’s as set by the Sales Manager. Working one on one with the Senior Account Manager, booking and accompanying them on business meetings, providing quotations to new customers as well as working with existing customers with the view to selling the businesses security products, consulting and managed security services to end user clients.

Main duties include: Support to the Senior Account Manager. Generate and follow up on leads directly and through marketing activities and qualifying those leads given by Vendors. Booking meetings. Providing quotations to customers. Pushing the sale of all security products, managed security services and consultancy to end user clients. Develop new accounts. Account manage existing accounts/ensure renewals are retained. Work to specified service levels on each account. Report weekly on pipeline forecast. Keep abreast of new security technologies and introduce these (where appropriate) to new and existing clients. Sell total solutions. Keep database updated with client information.

Experience in the IT Security industry is vital along with end user sales experience, a proactive approach and solutions sales experience.
