A 2 form entry Central Manchester primary school (M14) are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join their KS2 team. The successful candidate will work with a child with severe ADHD and SEMH on a 1:1 basis. The child requires a teaching assistant who will support them full time and will aid their learning in all areas. The school are looking for an energetic, pro active teaching assistant who has an optimistic attitude towards learning.
This 'GOOD’ primary school has a vibrant ethos and aims to create and maintain a safe learning environment for staff and students alike. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with children and will have supported children with special educational needs, specifically ADHD and SEMH. The post is full time and will start January.
The ideal candidate will,
- Have experience supporting children with ADHD or SEMH
- Have worked in a KS2 primary setting
- Have experience supporting children on IEP’s
