Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary: £20,000-£23,000

Location: Sutton Coldfield

A West Midlands based Global organisation are looking to take on a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their innovative team.

“AOUT THE ROLE”

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your duties include but are not limited too:

- Enter invoices onto the Finance System (SAP) ensuring they are correctly matched to an appropriate purchase order and goods receipt record.

- Liaising with Central Accounts Payable personnel
- Ensure group finance procedures are met in a timely manner
- Liaising with suppliers regarding disputes

- Statement reconciliations
- File invoices and statements
- Deal with purchase enquiries
- Liaise with Corporate Purchasing to resolve price queries
- Create and post month end accounting journals for purchase ledger

“WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR”

In order to be successful, you must:

- Previous experience working in a similar role within a fast-pace environment
- Have experience in SAP
- Proven ability to work on your own intuitive as well as part of a team

- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Package
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
