What is the role?

Supply Chain & Merchandising Manager based in Birmingham the role requires you to plan and trade product; manage performance in season and by effective management of supply chain in order to drive profit in line with agreed financial parameters and the business strategy.

What are the key responsibilities as Supply Chain & Merchandising Manager?

  • Maximise profit through effective stock management and budgeting

  • Range planning and forecasting through good effective OTB and WSSI management

  • Supplier management, building and maintaining relationships

  • Trading the proposition and managing mark down and OTB

  • Manage the supply chain and freight forwarders for optimum quantities

  • Manage people, lead, motivate and inspire!

What are the essentials for this role?

  • A minimum of 2 years spent in a merchandising management position.

  • Experience of merchandising owned and sourced brands, as well as third party ones.

  • Experience in Range Planning.

  • Experienced in forecasting and managing OTB.

  • Proven experience in motivating and managing a team.

  • Critical path management

  • Sales Analysis and Forecasting

  • Sound knowledge of legislation (including legislation relating to pricing, trading standards, contracts, health and safety, employment legislation).

  • Project Management.

  • Excellent IT systems skills - including MS Office with Advanced Excel skills, Management Information Systems, WSSI systems and other associated systems.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.

  • Professional, articulate and numerate to a high level.

  • Proven ability to communicate at all levels and with all parties across different cultures and countries.

  • Resilient, tenacious, enthusiastic, collaborative and driven to succeed individual.

  • Self motivated with strong problem solving skills and the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.


As Supply Chain & Merchandising Manager you will receive a salary between £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience with great package.
