Temporary Management Accountant
We are working with rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial Coventry based SME to recruit a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance function during a busy period.
In this role you will be assisting the Financial Controller responsible for the preparation of daily and weekly reports, the preparation of management accounts and the preparation of local budgets and forecasts, the preparation of weekly payroll reports, you will be preparing weekly cash requirements reports, payroll and invoices for submission to group payments. In this role you will be assisting operations with management information or management accounts queries, reporting on expenditure, posting stock movements to all relevant sites and look into discrepancies, assisting with stock audits.
You will also be responsible for bank reconciliations, ensuring receipts are reconciled and accounts are correct as well as ensuring balance sheet control accounts are reconciled and submitted to group as required.
To be considered for this role it is vital that you have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with sales managers to ensure revenue are maximised and opportunities identified and also liaising with maintenance managers to ensure all services costs are minimised. You will need to be able to demonstrate a good strength of character as your internal stakeholders can be quite demanding and you will need to communicate effectively to influence matters.
As the ideal candidate you will be part qualified/finalist in CIMA or ACCA or qualified by experience. You will be extremely organised, and have excellent communication skills and be confident in your reporting skills and hold a strong level of Excel (at least Pivots and Look ups).
This offers an immediate start for the next 3 months initially.
