Our client, BrightOffice is an innovative, progressive CRM software development company who provides cloud based, integrated business solutions for their clients.

Based in Skelmersdale, but operating nationally, they are a highly respected, experienced company, offering a range of CRM solutions, tailor made to meet their customer needs. Customer focus and avantgarde solutions are the key to their success.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking to expand their Team and looking for a Software Analyst, with at least 2 years’ experience in this arena.

The Role

This role has a real customer focus to it and requires the individual to work closely with their customers and the Client Managers to understand and interpret their requirements and translate this into a technical specification for the developers.

A key part of this role is being able to prove that you have the ability to work with customers who have a range of technical know-how and managing all stakeholder expectations as to the capability of the software and potential cost of customisation.

The remit of the role will vary project to project but will include requirements gathering and analysis, system functionality design, client stakeholder management and system implementation. The right candidate will require excellent analytical abilities and a solid understanding of software development/design processes.

The main elements of this role are to:

  • Work directly with the Software Manager within the Technical Team.
  • Manage and Implement process & procedures within the department.
  • The ability to question and drill down with customers to get a full understanding of their requirements and interpret this to the technical team in the form of detailed specifications.
  • Liaise directly with Technical team to ensure that workloads are allocated and activities monitored for performance.
  • Liaise with the development team when required.
  • Manage Project Data Import Programs and Specifications.
  • Ability to drive the delivery timetable.
  • Ability to manage own Time Management with ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • IT skills and ability to pick up technology and systems.
  • Logic and Troubleshooting.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of costing process.
  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment.

You must also be able to prove that you have the tenacity and drive to see a tasks and work activity through to fruition in a fast paced environment.

Person Specification

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate at the highest level:

  • A proven track record in providing excellent customer services
  • Experience of managing projects and writing technical specifications
  • Experience of and involvement in the software development lifecycle, to include user acceptance testing and system implementation
  • Excellent communication skills, both face to face and over the phone, and the ability to liaise with external Clients and all levels including business owners, with a high focus on customer satisfaction
  • An enthusiasm towards work and to help clients
  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment
  • An enthusiasm towards work and to help clients
  • ·Ability to work on multi-task and prioritise effectively.

Candidates must own their own car a have a full UK driving licence, as the role will involve visits to customer sites throughout the UK.

Although on the job training will be given on our products, we need people who have a thirst to learn, technically savvy and an eagerness to support and implement our products working with clients and helping drive the delivery timetable.

Although direct software experience would be beneficial we would welcome interest from any candidates who can demonstrate the above skill set and are using software efficiently within their day to day activity.
