We have an excellent position based in Bath to work for a lovely firm of solicitors as a Legal Secretary/Administrator

Please note whilst there is typing involved in this role, it is not a traditional Secretary role with 75% + audio typing and the duties are more PA related.

All applicants must have a good legal background and strong Secretarial/PA skills. Ideally if you have experience in Conveyancing this would be a huge advanatge.

This role would suit career driven individuals as there will be an opportunity of progression in time, for the right candidate.

Your duties will consist of:

- Provision of varied and comprehensive PA support to Partner

- Taking minutes

- Dealing with client liaison, issues and enquiries

- Taking initiative to pass enquiries/issues to others if necessary and monitor fulfilment

- Prioritising emails/issues in Partner’s absence and obtaining files relevant to emails/issues ready for Partner to deal with on return

- Filing and generally keeping documents in order

- Audio typing for the Partner

- Drafting letters

- Diary management and arranging meetings

- Organising travel

- Setting up new files and maintaining files in good order

- Answering telephones and taking messages

- Liaising with clients and staff at all levels

- Proof reading all work

General Administrative duties
