We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic lead iOS Developer to take up an exciting and permanent position with our client, an investor backed and award winning start up company that develops innovative mobile health technology.
Our client operates within the mental health sector, offering a digital product to employers to reduce the impact of staff absenteeism in the workplace. The company, despite having only been going for just two years, is experiencing rapid growth and hence why is looking for a new Lead iOS Developer to join their tight knit team.
The team are passionate about building fantastic products and they are looking for a talented software engineer who has the ability to write high quality and reliable code and a genuine passion for healthcare and/or mental health.
The successful candidate will lead a team and report to the Product Manager. They will have the opportunity to make a substantial impact quickly and make and create products that make a genuine difference to peoples' health. Daily duties will include:
  • Maintaining existing iOS code base
  • Build new features
  • Lead on iOS architectural decisions
  • Participate in Agile meetings eg stand ups, grooming and retrospectives.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience with iOS Development (objective - c/swift)
  • Working knowledge on design patterns and software architectures (MVC/MVP/MVVM)
  • Experience with Agile software development processes
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Familiar with software engineering concepts such as TDD, BDD, CI and continuous delivery.
Experience with web frameworks such as Django would be advantageous but not essential.
