Do you want to be a part of a Multi- Channel Business? My client is a niche retailer looking for an Ecommerce Merchandiser to join their exciting team in a fast paced and diverse role.
The purpose of the Ecommerce Merchandiser role is to support and drive the ecommerce sales, across a number of channels and models including own-bought, concession and wholesale. Work across functions including merchandising, buying, ecommerce and operations to increase sales and profitability through stock management and online trading.
Day to day responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting of on best sellers, stock levels and future sales opportunities.
In the role of Ecommerce Merchandiser you will be responsible for;
Support the ecommerce team in accurately reporting on sales, conversions, and profitability
Influence in-season trading across a number of channels and models including own-bought, concessions and wholesale, analysing trading patterns and identifying opportunities
Work with core merchandising team to ensure stock is available to support plans and match customer demand, continuously reviewing inventory levels across all channels
Understand key drivers in sales and profit, use data analysis to drive category and brand performance across channels
Prepare for and organise all digital promotions and mark down events, remerchandising the site as required
Daily monitoring of e commerce channels to provide insight for strategic trading decisions
Understand intake processes for the business, expected deliveries and items being delivered
Ensure deliveries of online only products are on time, working with the core merchandising team to launch these in line with expectations
Understand requirements of wholesale partners and work with the operations team to co-ordinate labels, deliveries and bookings to ensure these are met
Oversee online critical path from product loading to launch
Merchandise products to maximise sales and site aesthetics, within brand guidelines
Support ecommerce and marketing teams on product selection for homepages, social and email
Ensure all products are appearing on correct sites, and pricing is correct to plans
Work alongside ecommerce team and Head of Trading to plan sales for the season across multiple channels, based on historical data analysis, brand strategy and new opportunities identified
Work closely with ecommerce team to deliver monthly KPI reviews, giving insight to the core merchandising and buying teams into digital trends and metrics
Partner with the buying team to ensure the right range is selected for the most appropriate channels, in the right depths and supported with key initiatives
Candidates should ideally have experience within a head office Merchandising function, preferably within an E-Commerce retail environment. It is essential for the successful candidate to have good analytical and numerical skills, trend awareness with a passion for product and an ability to think commercially.
