An exciting opportunity has arisen for April 2018 working as a SEN Teacher for a purpose-built special school in Berkshire for students aged 5-16 with high-functioning ASD. The school has tailored facilities and specialist staff to support the specific educational and social needs of the students. The school provides extensive training for ASD and you will receive weekly training in an ongoing capacity.

You will be joining a team of experienced and committed teaching and learning support staff who hold specialist knowledge of autism and are passionate about developing their students' education and personal development. You will be working with small class sizes and additional support staff to deliver a varied curriculum to support the students with learning life skills. With plans in place for the school to expand over the coming years, there will be opportunities internally for career progression.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with autism and be an excellent communicator. You will also be able to think on your feetand have experience teaching life skills and work related learning activities.
