ROLE OVERVIEW: Reporting to the EU CFO, you will be responsible for the analysis, reporting and planning of pan-European EMS revenue. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Dimensions / Financials Manage EMS revenues (hundreds of millions) in multiple currencies and markets. Bottoms-up Planning for all Sales, RM, Product etc. of over 300+ people Manage a team of 3-4 people in various geographies Principal Accountabilities Planning: Engage with HQ in top-down revenue planning. Provide insights and 3-5 year long term views Engage with the business (Sales, RM, Product etc.) in bottoms-up planning and align with top down requirements Reporting & Forecasting: Lead month end closing activities including reporting, and variance analysis to all stakeholders. Lead monthly forecasts highlighting risks and opportunities for the full year. Assist in development and timely execution of robust activity based forecasting Analysis: Develop deep insight into the figures to facilitate query resolution and drive business decisions. Assist target owners, senior management and other stakeholders in understanding financials, underlying drivers and trends. Build relationships and liaise regularly with target owners for planning and forecasting purposes providing effective and constructive challenge as appropriate. Provide support for profitability, investment and other ad-hoc analysis as required by customers or Finance Assist in the development and improvement of appropriate internal controls Act as a leader within the European Finance team, working across the teams in a supportive and cohesive manner. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Experience/Qualifications Qualified in a commercial or numerical discipline A Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) or MBA; with an emphasis on commercially-focused accounting and finance support Previous experience in FP&A, revenue analytics or as a business partner facing sales/commercial business functions. Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills A high level of proficiency in Excel is a must - preferably including VBA Exposure to BI/Analytical platforms Strong command in written and oral communication skills Strong team player with good stakeholder management skills Experience in Financial Services, particularly acquiring/payments highly desirable. Use & understanding of SQL, Oracle Financials and Essbase is desirable but not a pre-requisite Skills/Disposition A focus on the Customer Ability to rapidly build functional understanding of complex issues Capacity to perform to a high standard while meeting deadlines Ability to delve into the detail but also communicate at a high level Intellectual curiosity & an Innate desire to learn Dedication to process & control improvements Experience in a multi-currency, matrixed environment The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
