This growth has been spurred following a company reorganisation and rebranding in January 2013 creating an ambitious new leadership team.

The Role

This position will work in partnership with all regional directors and group CEO to develop a powerful and clear marketing presence across multiple streams. Thus far, all marketing and design has been outsourced to a 3rd party vendor and managed internally by the leadership team.

This position offers the chance for a talented marketer to build on the current brand, adding their own influence as we move forward.

A key component of this role will be to oversee the business expansion plans and its associated marketing campaigns across Europe and North America. This will involve modernising and maintaining our digital footprint globally.

Immediate focus

Website development - We have commissioned a new International website to be build and as such, this person will project manage and lead the implementation of this. It will include working with an external brand designer.

Copywrite responsibility - This is a key part of the position, for both the website content and ongoing blogs.

Responsibilities

Implement group marketing strategy which will be developed with the leadership team
Maintenance & development of websites, including SEO optimisation
Update and monitoring of social media across all regions.
Manage external and Internal PR activity
Research and manage exhibitions and corporate events
Research new advertising opportunities
Review and manage direct mail activity campaigns
Budget planning
Copywrite for digital and print campaigns
Create, develop and implement e-marketing communications
Champion digital technologies and make pro-active suggestions to enhance our digital presence
Liaise with external vendors
Manage and where appropriate develop copy review and approval
Research and monitor competitor marketing activities
Act as a link between the sales and marketing organizations
Monitor and report all the marketing activities and their results

Skills/Experience Required

Proven marketing experience in a similar role with clear examples of developing marketing campaigns
The ability to develop and strengthen company branding
Up to date digital marketing experience with clear examples of recent project or client work
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress and other specialist programs
Strong leadership skills and ability to lead by example
Strategic thinker with a practical implementation outlook and the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult and influence at all levels
High personal drive and time management
A Marketing degree and ideally a higher degree
Strong analytical and project management skills
Strong communicator with the ability to lead consensus decision making
Recruitment industry experience a necessity, ideally in a similar specialist market
Ideas and the ability implement these ideas into reality
A very hands-on attitude as this role will both develop and implement all marketing campaigns.

Desirable
An understanding of the sales environment and what is required to attract internal talent and external clients.
An interest in the Life Science market would help as this role will require blogging activities and associated copy writing.
Experience in HTML and CSS
Experience in SEO, PPC and Social Media campaigns
Experience in Google analytics
