Graduate Software, PhD/BSc, Physicist, Mathematician; C++;
Graduate software engineers will be developing cutting edge software in C++ and other OOD languages for scientific and modelling applications. Graduate software engineers should have a Scientific, Physics or Maths/Computer Science or engineering degree. Engineers/Scientists with a MSc or PhD with academic/research experience will also be considered You should have experience or training in developing scientific or technical applications in a UNIX/Linux environment with C, Java or C++ programming. A background in physics/engineering, experience of control or real-time software, motion/servo control or LabVIEW would be advantageous. Graduate Software Engineers will be self-motivated, analytical and inventive: you should also be excited to be working at the cutting edge of scientific discovery. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential.
