A Travel and events company based near Colchester has recently had a job opening for their Business Travel Team Manager.

This job has become available due to the continued expansion of this highly reputable company. This role will be working as part of their 24-Hour helpdesk focused primarily on the Reservations and Corporate Travel functions.

One of the main benefits of this position is that you will be working from the comfort of your own home. The hours you will be working at our 24-Hour helpdesk will be 1830 to 0800 Monday to Sunday, on a four-week rota pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct the intern disaster recovery process for the department in accordance with this Travel and event company protocol· Ensuring relevant databases and documents are revised, updated and communicated when necessary.· Answering any queries and providing the relevant information for our company and services as part of our 24-Hour helpdesk· Ensuring that the out of hours department team are individuals with the proper skill set and competency levels and are well resources to handle any influx in calls and provide a first-class service· As part of the role of Business Travel Manager you will formulate and carry out Teams KPI’s, ensuring monthly results are communicated as appropriate.· Ensuring that the 24-Hour helpdesk is continuously fully staffed when sickness and holiday occurs within the company’s guidelines· Ensuring that all system (Ezi) training is carried out for staff under the company’s employment as well as updating the training process to include any improvements· Promote and motivating staff to contribute to the company’s success as well as being the first port of call for any issues· Create and maintaining professional relationships with both internal department and well as our clients’

About you:

· You will have experience in business travel with strong GDS knowledge - either Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre· Great interpersonal Skills to be able to communicate the intricacies of the business and our services to both new staff and potential clients· Forward thinking and self-starter able to explore the bests ways to improve the company· To have a strong commercial awareness, staying up to date with the latest news occurring within the Travel and events industry· A fantastic administrator who can organise and continually improve our company’s process
