This mid-market buyout specialist have deployed over €1.5bn to date and are on the verge of launching another new Fund which will be their biggest to date.

The role

The purpose of this role new role is to assist the Financial Controller with in sound reporting for a number of different private equity funds which each consist of several sub-funds in the form of Limited Partnerships. This will encompass of the following:
  • Maintaining the cash books and performing monthly bank reconciliations
  • Posting to the GL and investment database system
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Preparing interim and annual investor reports
  • Statutory accounts for the sub-funds and liaising with auditors
  • Investor statements including drawdown, distribution and NAV positions

Your profile

To be considered for the position of Fund Accountant within the Private Equity firm based in the West End you must meet the following criteria:
  • A university graduate with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in a numerical subject
  • High grade A-Levels (BBB as a minimum)
  • Part qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • A minimum of 18 months fund accountant experience
  • A complete knowledge of fund structures and reporting for LP's
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Willingness to improve processes


The successful Fund Accountant will be offered a salary of approximately £35-40,000 plus a comprehensive package including study support and a discretionary bonus
