Have you always dreamed of one day becoming an educational psychologist, but realise you need school-based experience before getting on to an Ed. Psych course? This graduate SEN teaching assistant role is ideal for those with the career ambition to work within education either in teaching or educational psychology.

The role is at a lovely primary school based in Manchester and you will be supporting a boy in KS2 who has autism and faces a number of barriers to learning. Each day the child attends the sensory room which is within the school - the room is well equipped with soft play equipment and other sensory objects to help to support the child and other children within the school. The school has an excellent training record, this year providing training to SEN graduate on speech and language intervention and autism awareness, amongst other training courses.

To apply for this SEN graduate teaching you must have a desire and passion to work within education, ideally but not essentially, with experience working with young people. Ideally you will have a 2:1 or above degree however we will consider all applicants with transferrable experience.
