2nd Line/ Desktop Support Analyst (SCCM)




About the role

This role is working for a leading property firm based in Central London.

You will have a strong technical understanding of networking, infrastructure and applications. Responsible for providing infrastructure and technical support to the firm. Responsible for end to end ownership and resolution of all IT support incidents and requests managed by the technical support analyst team.

Previous second line experience and proven experience of SCCM systems, troubleshooting, image building and package creation processes is essential.

Technical skills

  • Office XP/2003/2007/2010/2013/ - advanced level
  • SCCM 2012 Administration and troubleshooting - log file analysis
  • SCCM 2012 packaging and image creation/edit/deployment
  • SCCM 2012 Security patch process and release (WSUS via SCCM)
  • SCCM 2012 Distribution point setup and maintenance
  • Microsoft Active Directory administration
  • Exchange administration
  • Advanced knowledge of ADSL and WiFi technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Apple, RIM Blackberry and Android Mobile devices
  • Knowledge of networking concepts
  • Knowledge of all core applications including but not limited to:
  • Dynamics CRM
  • Reapit
  • Concur
  • K Vault (KVS) and Mimecast Email archiving solutions
  • Installation/moves of hardware such as printers, digital senders, MFD's (multi-function devices), PC's and all peripheral items
  • Strong knowledge of remote working solutions such as ADSL, Broadband, 3G and VPN's (virtual private network)
  • Knowledge of building PC's and troubleshooting support issues
  • Knowledge of audio visual equipment and solutions
  • Citrix presentation server
  • Essentials Citrix Knowledge including but not exclusive to:
  • Xen apps experience
  • Xen apps deployments
  • Citrix Xen app protocol
