Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare company in the City of London are seeking a finance assistant to join them for a permanent opportunity. You will be working closely with the Senior Finance Manager.

You must be immediately available to interview and start to be considered for the role!

The salary is between £23,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Your working hours will be 9-5pm and this will include a 30 minute paid lunch.

Please see the main responsibilities of the role below:

• Ensuring data is received in a timely manner from customers
• Formatting and preparing data for invoicing
• Raising complex and unique invoices in Xero accounts package
• Issue invoices to customers and ensure received and approved for payment
• Ensure that 30-day payment terms are met by customers
• Checking aged debtors report and proactively chasing overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales
• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and contacts
• Report on credit control activity and data updates in weekly transactions meeting
• Resolving queries both internally and externally regarding invoices
• Providing accounts information to internal departments
• Setting up and maintaining customer files
• Extract relevant financial instruction from contracts
• Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
