Night Care Assistant
Heritage Care has fantastic opportunities for Night Care Assistants to join the team at The Croft located in Amersham. Joining us on a part time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £7.70 rising to £8.00 after probation plus 10% night enhancement. We have opportunities for Night Care Assistants to join our home. You will work as part of a team providing physical, emotional,spiritual and social support to service users within the scheme to encourage them to achieve maximum independence where possible. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Heritage Care’s policies and procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards. You will need to be a great team player and be able to build positive relationships with our service users, their families and our staff. You will need to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of older people living within the scheme and how to support them to lead valued lives in the community. Good literacy, numerical and verbal skills are a must. It’s also very important that you are organised, patient and of a caring nature. The Croft is a modern, purpose built registered care home for 60 people. The home is split into four small communities, each with its own staff team. Each community has a comfortable and spacious living room where people can meet or watch the large flat screen TV. Residents can join in with a range of organised activities including coffee mornings, quizzes, discussions and cinema days. All of this takes place within a happy ‘family’ atmosphere supported by the dedicated Activity Organiser. Hours of work: 10, 20 or 30 per week, including alternative weekends on rolling rota basis.
