As Deputy Manager you will support the Home Manager by inspiring your whole team to 'be the best they can be', you will ensure your team enable the residents to lead a valued, fulfilling life and to maximize the potential capacity of all residents physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. You'll ensure adherence to the highest standards, develop new initiatives in care practices and overall delivery of a quality service.
Above all, you'll look to continually innovate and improve, to provide residents with the quality of life they deserve.
Responsibilities of Deputy Manager:
Closely supporting our Home Manager, our Deputy Home Managers are responsible for promoting, managing and co-ordinating care plans, and you'll play a central role in team leadership. From allocating shifts and training days to overseeing recruitment and induction, you will be central to service delivery and you'll take a hands-on approach to care management too.
Person Specification for Deputy Manager:
Understanding and commitment to safeguarding.
A team player with a love and ability to build a strong team, driven to provide person centred and outcome
Good understanding of CQC regulation and inspection.
Dedicated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, organisational, report writing an
time management skills
Experience doing supervision, appraisals and disciplinary's
Experience with supported living and supporting people with LD/MH/ABI/challenging behaviour
