Night Senior Care Assistant
Heritage Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join the team at The Chestnuts in Aylesbury. Joining us on a part time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £8.50 per hour. Enhancements are paid at 10% for night shifts. We have an opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join our home. As a Senior Care Assistant you will ensure that services are provided that respect the choice, dignity and rights of individuals. You will work as part of a team, providing physical, emotional, spiritual and social support to service users within the scheme to encourage them to achieve maximum independence where possible. With a flexible approach to work and responsibilities, the Night Senior Care Assistant will ideally hold an NQQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in health and Social Care. You will need to possess good communication skills that will help you interact with service users and their families. Experience with a supervisory role within a health care setting would be an advantage. Duties involved will include updating/writing care plans and risk assessments, supervising staff, supporting the Care Team Leader on shift and administering medication. The Chestnuts is a modern, purpose built care home for older people and those living with dementia in Aylesbury. Enhancements are paid at 10% for night shifts. Hours of work: 30 hours per week, on a shift rota basis, including regular weekend.
