Nicholas Howard Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a new and exciting role as a Brand Director.

Based in Buckinghamshire, the key responsibilities are as follows: -

Financial Management:

- Understand how to maximise revenue from client accounts by making appropriate adjustments to team resources.
- Be able to lead and drive the WIP, budgeting and forecasting process.
- Ensure account team fully understand the financial reports (forecast/monthly numbers etc.) and the key variables within them.
- Confidently produce detailed estimates, even for novel offerings.

Client Management:

- Ensure client is confident in the proactive driving of the account (ensure the client's opinion on our performance is regularly sought and correction plans put in place if required).
- Be regarded by the client as the senior account handling expert who provides strategic support and counsel.
- Be confident in challenging and focusing clients on their strategic goals.
- Where required, work seamlessly with Creative Team to provide value-added-input into client meetings/discussions.
- Be able to predict and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring relevant team members are fully involved and aware.

Project Management:

- Drive measurement of the programmes delivered and suggest formats for measurement to clients.
- Proactively ensure conversations take place with clients regarding their satisfaction with the service they have received.
- Ensure projects and brands stay true to strategic goals.

Taking Ownership:

- Be accountable for the account quality, creativity and innovation, revenue and profitability.
- Reach out to senior management for early alerts of risks to client satisfaction and agency income, and propose solutions.
- If accounts are not reaching expected revenue levels devise a plan to identify new revenue streams.
- Participation in supporting and leading client workshops.
- Play a leading role on pitch proposals and delivery.
- Keep brands strategy in focus through project life cycle.
- Be aware of challenges to strategic plans from changes to market.

Education & Experience:

- Life science degree preferred.
- Excellent understanding and experience of the healthcare industry.
- Healthcare comms. agency experience preferred.
- Problem solving expertise.
- Proven strategic skillset.
- Experience in a senior leadership position.
- Strong marketing thinking and understanding of the communication disciplines.
- Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally for client meetings.
