Older People Programmes Officer
We are the UK Jewish community’s leading international development and humanitarian agency. We tackle Jewish poverty, helping the world’s poorest Jews and reaching beyond our community. We are striving to help 50,000 older people and bring 100,000 out of poverty by 2020. We are looking for a fluent Russian speaker with a passion for monitoring, learning and impact and an interest in ageing-related issues. The role sits within a small team and will play a key role in our international programmes. The primary purpose of the role is to support our Programmes Team in the management and development of our life-changing programmes for Older People in the Former Soviet Union. This involves supporting the monitoring of programmes, capturing learning and working with our partner organisations to measure the impact of our grants. This is an exciting time for World Jewish Relief's programme work and the position will play a supporting role in the Programmes Team, helping to strengthen the impact, outcomes and accountability of its international grants in line with its corporate strategy. Closing date for applications: Friday 02 February 2018, 11.59pm Interviews will take place on 12 and 13 February.
