SEN Support Staff
Engage Education are currently working with a number of SEN and mainstream schools in the Kingston/Surbiton areas and require support staff for day-to-day positions starting in January/February 2018. Daily assignments are an ideal way to sample our schools and to secure long-term posts in suitable locations.
About the role

This role will enable you to work in a variety of your local SEN and mainstream schools so you can expect short journey times and the opportunity to build rapport and strong working relationships. Engage Education works exclusively with a number of schools in the South West London area and we have received an increase for the need for SEN support staff.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children special educational needs and more specifically. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. We are looking for recent graduates who are looking to build their experience working with SEN pupils and more experienced Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants. Qualifications such as NVQ L2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent are desirable but not essential.
Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis is essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK.

We are looking for people who are available immediately and can be available on a day-to-day basis.
