Finance Systems Manager - Media & Telecoms Infrastructure 18- month fixed-term contract
As Finance Systems Manager reporting to the Head of Finance, Compliance & Control and managing the performance of a team within our corporate finance unit, you’ll perform a broad range of finance system activities and contribute towards building knowledge of processes across Arqiva.
Managing the day to day operations of our Oracle ERP, related system interfaces and providing user support. You’ll also:
• analyse and resolve problems
• guide and coach junior members of the team
•support system change initiatives
•promote best practice use of the ERP system, while maintain appropriate controls and safeguards.
You have a proven finance/IT team leadership track record, ideally in a large corporate or listed environment. As the key intermediary between Finance and IT, you’ll need strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to handle difficult issues constructively and tactfully.
You also have the knowledge and skills to be the primary SME for all our finance IT systems. Your sound knowledge and oversight of Oracle financials is underpinned by your ability to manage the governance and efficiency of interfaces, in addition to:
• managing ERP patch updates, ensuring sufficient testing is carried out
• supporting project work, including OD change resulting in significant change to CoA
• managing and developing your team.
