A well established company in Bromley is seeking an assistant management accountant to join their team on a full time basis.

It is a full time role working 9-5.30.

The client is looking for someone with Excellent verbal & written communication skills; good attention to detail
• Highly numerate with attention to detail
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proactive with a flexible attitude and able to work independently

The role duties will include:

Monthly Management accounts
- Reconciliation of Revenue, Prepayment releases for management accounts, Meeting with Department Managers to discuss overhead spend against budget

Accounts recievable and Accounts payable
- • Supervision & Provision of assistance to AP Clerk for any invoice queries
• Monthly Imperial a reconciliations and payment
• Review AP balances on a monthly basis
• Preparation & review of a monthly Aged Unclaimed
• Supervise AP summer temp & AP work experience staff
• Ensure prepayments are made in accordance with instructions
• Ensure that deductions are made from supplier final invoices if required

Balance Sheet Reconciliations (mthly & year-end)
• Prepayments (3 accounts)
Bank Reconciliations via Cash Management
• Reconciliation of 14 bank accounts for CHL. Posting of monthly direct debits & bank charges and investigate reconciling items
• Prepare weekly cashflow for CHL and a fortnightly cash funding request
• Check and verify manual bank transfers daily
• Check previous day bank account movements for fraudulent transactions

Other ad hoc duties will be required
