We are looking for a high calibre recent chemistry graduate who is looking to develop a career in chemical regulatory affairs. This is a trainee role with the regulatory affairs team at a global speciality chemical company. You will be trained in all aspects of chemical regulatory affairs including how to author safety data sheets, calculate product hazard classifications, create product labels, support a variety of notifications and provide regulatory expertise to the business. Suitable candidates must have a degree or higher degree in chemistry (toxicology or environmental science will also be considered), you must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in chemical regulatory affairs, ideally have an understanding of chemical classifications and some knowledge of what CLP and REACH involve. You must have strong attention to detail, good IT skills, be able to work on your own initiative and have confident written and verbal communication skills.
