Our Newport based customer is recruiting an experienced Book Keeper to join their accountancy practice as soon as possible, working either full or part time hours.
You will be supporting them by processing accounts and payroll for a number of their clients, so they are ideally looking for someone who has worked in a similar capacity in the past, and who is used to dealing with different types of company accounts and payroll requirements.
Key tasks will include the following:
Weekly and monthly Payroll via Sage:
Input of payment details
Producing payroll reports
Reconciling payment deductions
Processing BACS payments
Posting cheques and cash payments
Producing monthly statements
Importing Purchase Invoices
Code and input onto Sage
Post supplier payments
Reconcile supplier statements
Raise BACS payments
In addition to the above, you will deal with bank reconciliations and reconcile quarterly VAT payments, and be involved in other monthly accounts based activities in order to complete activities to produce Profit & loss, Balance Sheet and Trial Balance.
