Sewell Wallis Public and Third are recruiting for a Finance Assistant role based in Rotherham. This is a new role within the finance team which would mainly focus on assisting the management accountant, completing purchase ledger duties and some credit control tasks. This would suit someone looking for career progression and study support at AAT level.

Duties:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager in a small team.
- Assisting the Management Accountant.
- Profit and Loss analysis.
- Producing Sales reports.
- Cash flow reporting.
- Maintaining the purchase ledger.
- Checking and entering supplier invoices.
- Preparing the monthly payment run.
- Chasing for unpaid invoices (live and historic).
- Working with the debtors report.

The ideal candidate must have Strong IT skills (Excel and various finance systems) Looking to learn and progress and AAT part qualified.
