Calling all Super Carers! We are looking for real Care Heroes to join our dedicated team of Relief Support workers. Come and make a difference to someone's life.

We are looking for Relief Support Workers to join our team, supporting adults with a learning disabilities in our Registered Care Home in Havant. You will be providing support with personal care, medication, shopping and preparing meals and all other tasks associated with maintaining a habitable home. In addition to this, you will be supporting people to access the community and participate in the activities they enjoy. These include shopping, bowling, swimming, meals out, walks, and going to the cinema.

Our Havant service consists of supported living services for several people whom have profound and multiple learning disabilities, sensory impairment and physical disabilities. The people here require all round care, which requires a dedicated approach to person centered support - something we are passionate about here at Mencap. Personal care is a big part of our service, so we are looking for people who are happy to provide the level of care we require.

Shifts are rota based and will be spread across weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings, waking nights and sleep in shifts may also be available. Flexibility is essential as all our shifts will be spread across the weekdays and weekends. We are really looking for individuals who are patient and adaptable, with a real "Can-do" attitude.
