As one of the UK’s most respected and experienced technology distributors our client is constantly moving forward, looking for new challenges and expanding their operation. Their company has multiple divisions servicing many different market areas, including all areas of the entertainment industry. Their brands are diverse and wide ranging, and the ways in which they reach the relevant demographics are many and varied.

Right now, they are looking for a dynamic, creative individual to assist both their sales and marketing departments. So, if you recognize yourself in this list of attributes it may be time for a move -

• Creative with a ‘thinking out of the box’ mentality.
• Media savvy with an understanding of press and PR.

• Experienced in Website management.
• Organized and methodical.
• Able to create E-shots and manage their effectiveness.
• Fully aware of the importance of today’s social media channels and an ability to manage them.
• Experienced in content creation, both graphical and textual.
• As well as an interest in professional audio and video/communication technologies.

Their ideal candidate will be qualified in Digital Marketing and/or Creative Advertising, and this is an ideal role for someone who is newly qualified and looking to take their first step in the industry. They will also be polite, detail orientated, accurate, have good time keeping skills and be able to work in a team.

The Role:

The role entails supporting their marketing activities, especially the roll out and development of their website, alongside activities relating to social media, electronic marketing and events. You will be the companies first contact point for all web and social media channels and therefore will need to develop procedures to handle these communications in a professional manner.

You will also be required to work with their internal sales department assisting with sales order processing as required, with certain dedicated tasks relating to the marketing and technical support teams. Initially you will work alongside their existing team members and report to the Managing Director.

Within this role you will be involved in the following tasks initially, but not exclusively.
• Supporting the launch of their new website and the ongoing support of that site.
• Social media development.
• Marketing via electronic media.
• Assisting with arranging exhibitions and events.
• Product video creation.
• Liaison with web design companies.
• Amazon uploads and AMS tracking.
• Assisting with compiling of marketing strategies and advertising campaigns.
• Liaison with Suppliers marketing departments.
• Liaison with advertising media.
• Marketing support to clients including image and web banner creation, etc.
• Case-study creation and distribution.

You will be required to work in their offices in Burgess Hill, West Sussex on a 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Some UK and overseas travel will be required from time to time.
