Graduate Legal Claims Handler
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious legal graduate to join a well respected Legal Expenses Insurer in the Bristol area. Progression is available and encouraged and a Claims Handlers will typically work towards Senior Claims positions or technical roles within the department. Alternative directions include underwriting & sales disciplines.
This is an office based role whereby you will progress the claims focusing on high quality customer care at all times. You will manage your own case load of claims with a variety of file types and subject matters. You will work well with internal colleagues, the insured, solicitors and other relevant third parties working to set authority limits.
Customer Service is a massive part of this role- responding promptly and efficiently to all claimants using various communication methods
Input data accurately and in a timely manor
Processing claims in line with stipulated procedures and authority limits
Manage time and work flow accordingly and prioritising tasks
Ensuring you are adhering to compliance frameworks
Working to better yourself professionally and those around you
Assists with/conducts audits of external law firms to ensure their adherence to company service standards
A Law graduate or equivalent OR a good level of education (min. 5 GCSE Grade C+) with relevant experience
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Good numeracy & literacy skills
