Our client is an established and respected multi disciplined consultancy operating from offices in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.

With an already hugely successful Civil & Structural Engineering division, our client already has a small, but established Traffic / Transportation division which is thriving and looking to expand. They are looking for a recent Geography Graduate to come in and train to become a Transport Planner. Your role, amongst other things, will be to assist in producing travel plans, junction analysis and transport assessments.

This role will be suitable for either a new graduate or a graduate with up to a year's experience in Transport Planning. A new graduate is likely to have a degree in Geography (ideally a 2:1 or better) from a good university. You will be bright, inquisitive with a genuine interest in building a career in Transport Planning. You will have gained good data analysis & report writing skills. You will be a good communicator, willing to learn with a determination to succeed. A good knowledge of CAD would be an advantage. Perhaps most importantly you will possess bags of enthusiasm & personality.

Our client will provide excellent ongoing training, genuine work variety, and in a vibrant working atmosphere.

A competitive salary will be offered which will be negotiable depending on experience / ability etc., but likely to be in the region of £21-25,000 p.a.
